The service
MakeMyItinerary is an AI-powered travel-planning tool. We are not a travel agent, tour operator or booking platform. We aggregate and verify third-party information (prices, visa rules, ratings, weather) to help you plan, but details can change — always reconfirm prices, availability and visa requirements on the official source before you book or travel.
Accounts
You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for the activity under it. You must provide accurate information.
Payments
The first two days of any itinerary are free to preview (on a two-day trip, day one). Unlocking the full plan is a one-time payment per itinerary — the price depends on the trip type (currently ₹129 for your first 3 domestic trips, ₹199 after; the exact amount is always shown before you pay). It is processed securely by Razorpay and unlocks all days, hotels, maps, the PDF and up to three chat edits. There is no subscription or recurring charge.
Chat edits (“Tweak with AI”)
Unlocked trips can be adjusted by chatting with the assistant, up to three itinerary-changing edits per trip. Asking questions doesn’t use up an edit — only a request that actually changes the plan does, and only once you confirm it (the assistant always shows you the change first; nothing applies until you tap Confirm).
Chat can: swap a specific meal or activity on a given day, add or remove a specific stop, re-pace one named day (more relaxed or more packed), and make small day-level asks like adding a spa or trimming a day’s budget.
Chat cannot: change your destination, origin city, travel dates, traveller count, travel mode (domestic, international or bike), nationality/passport details, or anything after payment/unlock — those require generating a new trip. It also cannot change the transport mode between cities (e.g. train to flight), change the accommodation tier for the whole trip, re-pace every day at once, or reorder/restructure the trip — these need real fare, schedule and availability data the chat assistant doesn’t have. If asked, it will explain why and suggest an alternative rather than guessing. Picking a different hotel is handled separately by the “Select” button on the hotel cards, and doesn’t use up a chat edit.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service — no scraping, reverse-engineering, reselling generated content as your own product, or automated abuse. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that do.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that every price, place or rule is current or error-free, and we’re not liable for losses arising from booking decisions you make based on a plan. Verify the essentials independently.
